ABOUT THE AUTHOR B D Nautiyal

B D Nautiyal did B.Sc. from Allahabad University in 1958, B.Sc. Eng. (Civil and Municipal) from Banaras Hindu University in 1962, M.E. (Structural Engineering) from Roorkee University in 1963 and Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) again from Roorkee University in 1974. He is a member of so many rofessional bodies.He joined teaching at Banaras Hindu University in 1963. He was in the faculty of Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College under Gorakhpur University as Assistant Professor and Professor for 16 years. He is working as the faculty member of Civil Engineering Department of Banaras Hindu University as Professor since 1984. Dr. Nautiyal has a rich experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students spanning over 38 years. Structural analysis and Structural Design remained his main subjects of teaching. He is involved actively in guiding research in the field of Concrete Technology and has over 75 research papers published in national and international journals of repute including those presented in seminars and conferences.
