Judges Appointment Case

Recently a five-judge constitution bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice J.S. Khehar by a 4:1 majority struck down the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) and ordered revival of the two-decade-old ‘judges-selecting-judges’ collegium system.
