C.K. Sharma, is a known figure in the field of Library and Information Science. He has served in this profession for forty years. He has also worked as Assistant Librarian as well as Lecturer in the Ravishankar University; and Incharge University Librarian in the Agra University. He also served the same University as Reader and Head, Department of Library and Information Science. He is a Founder Head of Department of Library & Information Science of Agra University; IME, Sahibabad; M.M. Modi College, Modinagar. He has served as Director, UIMT, and Chief Proctor/Chief Warden and Development Officer in the SRM Institute of Managemetn and Technology, Modinagar. Dr. Sharma has written 27 books till date on Library & Information Science, General Studies, and History. His two books, Research Methodology and Historical Places of India are very popular. He has attended many National and International Conferences. He is Founder President of Chhattisgarh Library Association. He is a life member of ILA and UPLA.
