Living Traditions in Indian Art

Tryna Lyons is an art historian with degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and the American University of Paris. She has held research grants from the Fulbright Foundation and American Institute of Indian Studies. Her publications include articles in Artibus Asiae and Archives of Asian Art, as well as contributions to a volume on gender issues in Indian art. She has taught at the universities of Washington, Vermont, and California. Her current projects include a study of clay puja image production in West Bengal and Bangladesh.
