Loose Rounds: Lighter Moments in the Olive Green

Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) KSN Sukumaran passed out from the Indian Military Academy in the year 1978 and was comissioned to the Regiment of Artillery. A postgradute in Management, he is currently pursuing Doctorate in the same subject. A hardcore Regimental Soldier, he has tasted the peace and tranquility of J&K on the one side and the ugly militancy on the other, during his three tenures. The remote areas of Sikkim and the deserts of Rajasthan were also part of his itinerary. He has rendered effective service in 53 Field Regiment, Head Quarters 22 Infantry Division, 1851 Light Regiment, 1821 Light Regiment, 871 Medium Regiment and 230 Medium Regiment, in various capacities. 53 Field REgiment as his parent unit, remained always dearer to his heart, nurturing and shaping him as a well disciplined member of the armed forces. In the year 2000, he joined The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) as a Consultant. Presently, the author is happily settled at Secunderabad, much to the admiration and best wishes of a galaxy of friends and relatives. His sense of humour and laterla thinking capability won him accolades in variuos periodicals and magazines.
