The concept of the case study is used for the understanding of the applications of principles of management at work place. These cases have explained based on Human Resource Management, Team Work, Leadership and Conflict Management Processes etc. the cases are based on managerial practices in India and how an employee adjusts himself in professional and non professionally managed company. The some of the case are provided by analysis on failure of schemes and corrective action taken by the industries, however in current business scenario it is becoming a great challenge to take right decisions. The cases also discuss about role or workers as quality circles in cost effectiveness of the resources of an organization. Some of the cases show the importance of collective counseling, showing how small demand of the workers if properly not handled can turn in to industrial relation problems and role of management become very critical to resolve the problem. If problems are solved timely then small issues can be resolved quickly. Change Management explicitly suggests how to bring changes in the organization and how change management can be executed in the industries. Cases with the service industries their employees acceptance for modernization and sustainability of activities are also discussed, solutions for absenteeism problem and how absenteeism can be reduced with appropriate incentive scheme are suggested. In the cases it is advised to top management to find out the ground realities in the organization and accordingly employees are to be reinforced for their behaviour.

Dr. Santosh Rangnekar is working as Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is having 17 years experience in industries and academics like Raymond Group of Industires, Shriram Group of Industries, The Hukamchand Mills Limited Indore, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, IITM, Gwalior. Dr. Santorh Rangnekar has been continuously engaged in the last 17 years in training. He has directed a number of Major Research Project work in different areas of management. He has designed and inducted to number of training programmers. As a core faculty member held sessions in Aurangabad. Renu sagar Gwalior, Indore, Nagda, Faribdabad. Recently conducted management development programmers at knowledge Management, Gwalior.
