ABOUT THE AUTHOR Vikas Verma

Vikas Verma holds a postgraduate diploma in management from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech from IIT, Delhi. He has over 16 years of industry experience and is currently working at EDS offshore development centre at Pune, where he heads the ERP practice. Prior to joining EDS, he worked with various IT companies like Deloitte Consulting and Perot Systems at their India offshore development centers. During his career with these companies, he managed large offshore software projects for global clients with teams dispersed across continents. He has worked in the areas of consulting, software development, implementation and support, and project management.
