The Purpose of the book Material Life of Northern India based on an Archaeological Study is to reconstruct the material life of Northern India from crica 3rd Cent.B.C. to 1st Cent. B.C. it is an original work and is mainly based on archaeological evidences revealed from to time to time through scientific excavations. These evidences, where necessary, have been corroborated with the available literary evidences.
