The present book is divided into two Sections-A and B containing twenty-two research articles by eminent scholars from the country and abroad. In Section A, all the twelve articles are of general nature which highlight the role of mathematics education and the significant dimensions of the discipline in a very simple manner and lucid language easily understandable by all. Section B contains ten research papers, which specially deal with Wavelet theory and its practical applications, Fourier-Feynman transforms on Wiener space, a second order approximation for the distribution of a normalized sample mean based on random sample sizes, non-linear stability in generalized perturbed restricted three body problem statistical inference using asymmetrical loss function, the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of a Pexider quadratic functional equation, best simultaneous co-approximation, approximated isometries and the problem of estimation of scale parameter of weibull distribution. The whole book has been planned to manifest the recent trends and developments in the area of mathematical applications to ever changing technical and non-technical problems. The book is also supposed to create interest in the common man for understanding mathematics and the academicians would also be encouraged to go into the deep researches coping with the emerging challenges to be solved with the help of knowledge and application of advanced tools and techniques of mathematics. The book would make mathematics popular among the non-mathematicians and the scholars of mathematics as well.
