Pakistan Military has been ranked as the 11th strongest Military in the World, as per a Credit Suisse report on globalisation. Since the founding of Pakistan, the Army has been key in holding the state together, promoting a feeling of nationhood among disparate peoples and providing a bastion of selfless service in the midst of a venal government system.
