Various State Government and the Central Government recruit and train supervisors who go to the schools and supervise the work of the teachers as well as the head masters and the Principals of the schools. That the supervision has to be democratic in nature, this fact has been recognized by the educationist and educational administrators all over the world. The major function of the supervisor is to help the teachers in the improvement of their teaching methods preparation of audio-visual aids and provide individual attention to the students.
