Modern Indian Economy is an edited volume contributed by friends, colleagues, students, well wisher and admires of Professor Alak Ghosh to perpetuate his memory on various topics of interest of Prof. Ghosh. This volume though published in the memory of a renowned teacher for more than four decades yet it will serve as a guide to the academicians and researchers on the economies of India and other developing countries to study their different dimensions to understand the implications, magnitude and solutions in the future.
