Pangi is located in the remotest region of the district Chamba in Himachal Pradesh. The valley has preserved their rich cultural Heritage in the form of monumental remains including temples, both wooden and stones; Buddhist Monasteries, Chrtens, mani-walls and inscribed stones; memorial stones; inscribed and uninscribed fountain stone slabs. In this book, an attempt has been made to highlight the monumental remains with plans and photographs. It is divided in to three chapters. The first one gives a brief introduction of the region while the second chapter is devoted to the historical background. The details of the monumental heritage has been highlighted in the third chapter. This pictorial monograph will definitely help the serious scholars for carrying out detailed research on various aspects and also will serve as a guide to the lay visitors/tourists during their visit to the area.
