Abida Samiuddin is an eminent feminist scholar and journalist. She did M.A. in History and Urdu literature from Patna University, Patna. She has contributed number of research articles in journals and newspapers of national repute. She had worked in Urdu Academy, Patna for two years. Presently, she is doing freelance journalism and associated with some important newspapers and NGOs.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR R. Khanam

R. Khanam is a young and dynamic teacher and scholar of sociology of Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. She was co-editor of nine volumes book Muslim Feminism and Feminist Movement. She has also contributed a member of research papers in journals and news papers and is associated with social activities.
