As the title of the book suggests, it is a collection of the information practically about all aspects of Optoelectronics. The method of presentation is lucid and explanatory. A balance is maintained between the experimental and theoretical aspects, which will give the student a clear underdeveloped. The book may be used as text for a postgraduate course and research students in the subject should be able to find enough information to supplement their work. At the same time, the book is laid down in such a way as to enable those needing a general outline of each aspect of optoelectronics to find all the required information without much difficulty.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Avinashi Kapoor
Avinashi Kapoor, M.Sc., Ph.D. is presently a faculty member in the Department of Delhi-South Campus. He served as a faculty member and Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. His teaching and research interests include Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, digital Signal Processing and Optoelectronics. He has several research papers published in the area of Phtovoltaics and Optoelectronics in various journals of international repute.

K.N. Tripathi, M.Sc., Ph.D. is presently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi-South Campus (UPSC), New Delhi. His main areas of teaching and research include Microwave Electronics, Dielectric Waveguides, Photovoltaics, Network Analysis and Synthesis and Optoelectronics. He has been invited to various countries as Visiting Professor. He has published several research papers in various international journals.

P.C. Mathur, M.Sc., Ph.D. is working as a Professor in the Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi South Campus. His main research areas include semiconducting material preparation, Characterization and their Devices.
