Organisational Climate of Secondary Schools

The role of the school in education has now become more crucial and urgent. In this context, it would be necessary to identify all the critical factors that help or hinder school effectiveness. Although educators have long believed that factors such as class size, school finance, the quality of academic and professional equipment, physical facilities in schools, the adequacy and quality of teaching staff, teachers academic and professional qualification and the quality of principals leadership are valid indicators of effectiveness. But research studies reveal many more complex factors inter-linked with contributing to the school effectiveness. These further are additional factors include organizational climate of school, teacher morale and job satisfaction of teachers etc.
