In this book on Pairing of Opposite Houses in Prediction, a novel technique of analyzing the influences of the 12 Bhavas by pairing them into six sets of opposite pairs has been discussed in detail for the first time. This innovative approach in evaluating the Bhava phala provides better insights into the various portfolios of life pertaining to a native. The book is structured into 9 chapters with the last Chapter dealing with a new concept of identifying not only the purpose of the present life of an individual but also its accomplishment (or otherwise) by examining all the 6 pairs of opposite houses together. The book contains 13 example horoscopes illustrating the principles discussed herein. The main text of this book was published as a series of articles in Modern Astrology during the period from January 2014 to December 2016.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dr. Revathi Vee Kumar

Dr. V. Kumar (popularly known as Dr. Revathi Vee Kumar), is presently the honorary Chapter Chairman of Bangalore Chapter I of Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). He has taught Astrology, Vaasthu, Numerology, Fengshui, etc to the students of AIFAS, Bangalore chapter-II for about a decade from 2002 to 2012 and has been teaching Astrology and allied subjects in ICAS, Bangalore Chapter-l since August 2012. He is basically a science graduate with a Master's Degree in - ASTROLOGY through Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad and a second MA in PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION through Madurai Kamaraj University. He has been honoured with 'Doctor of Philosophy (Vaasthu)' by The Open International University for Complementary Medicine (O.I.U.C.M) at Srilanka during November 2010. Dr. Revathi Vee Kumar is a versatile scholar possessing an in depth knowledge in Vaasthu, Astrology and Numerology. He is also well-versed in Palmistry, Feng Shui and Pyra Vaasthu. He is the pioneer in MEDICAL VAASTHU, a new branch of Study added to Vaasthu by him, in which a step by step method has been propounded for identifying the health problems in a house based on its floor plan. He has so far authored two books on Vaasthu titled 'The Foundations of Vedic Vaasthu' & 'Medical Vaasthu'. The present book "Pairing of Opposite Houses in Prediction" is his first one on Astrology. Dr. Revathi Vee Kumar has delivered many guest lectures on Astrology, Vaasthu and Fengshui. He has so far published more than 25 research papers on Astrology, Vaasthu and allied subjects. His articles have appeared in 'The AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology', 'Kashyapa Jyothisha', 'Saptarishisastrology.com', Modem Astrology, Express Star Teller, etc. Presently, he is contributing a series of articles on 'The Synthesis Method of Prediction in Astrology' in The Express Star Teller (monthly magazine) from June 2015 onwards and also, a series of articles on 'Samaagama' in Modern Astrology (monthly magazine) from January 2017. In recognition of his meritorious services in the field of Astrology and Vaasthu, Dr. Revathi Vee Kumar has been honoured by AIFAS, New Delhi as 'Acharya' in Astrology and Vaasthu During October 2004 and in the year 2008 as "Pracharya" through Bangalore Chapter IT. He is also honoured as Jyothir Vidwan, Jyothisha Kalaadhara, Jyothir Marthanda, Jyothishya Mahopadhyaya, etc. by many other organizations.
