Ken Shelton is chairman and editor-in-chief of Executive Excellence Publishing, publishers of newsletters, magazines, books, audio books, and CD-ROMs on personal and organizational development. The mission of executive Excellence Publishing is to " help you find a wiser, better way to live you life and lead you organization." Since 1984, Ken has served as editor of Executive Excellence, the world's leading executive advisory newsletter, and more recently Personal Excellence, a digest of the best thinking on personal and professional development. He is the editor of several books, including In Search of Quality, and A New Paradigm of Leadership, and the author of Beyond Counterfeit Leadership: How you Can Become a More Authentic Leader. For many years, he has enjoyed a close association with Stephen R. Covey, primarily as a writer and editor on various projects. including the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Principle-Centered Leadership, and first Things First. He is a former editor of Utab Business and BYU Today and a contributing writer to several other magazines. Ken has a master's degree in mass and organizational communications from Brigham Young University and San Diego State University.
