Political Economy and International Relations

International Political Economy is the rapidly developing social science field of study that attempts to understand international and global problems using an eclectic interdisciplinary array of analytical tools and theoretical perspectives. Although IPE originally developed as a sub-field of International Relations, it has in recent years taken on a life of its own. At the University of Puget Sound it has developed into a prominent and challenging field of study.
