ABOUT THE AUTHOR Bhupesh Ch. Karmakar
Bhupesh chandra Karmakar is Retired Defence person who completed his schooling from the Bengali High School in Nowgong (Assam). While studying in Nowgong College, he joined the Indian Air Force early in 1961. He was in the forward areas during the Chinese aggression near Sonitpur and later he was posted to various Air Force bases in the country. During his stay at unit in Barrackpore, (West Bengal), he has a chance to pursue higher studies as a private candidate from University of Calcutta in 1970. He is now settled in South Delhi and spend most of his leisure time writing about his vision of mystical life in various articles and stories in English. He dreams of a better, classless society, where people will live close to nature. His ideas of an environment-friendly modern society pervade all his prose writing, where old traditions and festivals thrive in all their pastoral glory along with scientific progress.
