Primary Non-Fictional Sources

That Joseph Conrad is one of the foremost fictionists of the world is unquestionable. No wonder he is read throughout the globe, and finds a prominent place in the syllabi of the universities and colleges where English literature is studied. For the past eight decades or so, a lot of research work has been, and is being, done on him. Since no genuine study can be accomplished on a writer without a close perusal of his entire primary sources, fictional and non-fictional, and as Conrad’s entire expository writings are not easily available, particularly in India, it becomes imperative to reprint the primary non fictional materials by, and on, him. Inevitably, it is hoped that these six volumes, containing his primary non fictional sources, will be absolutely indispensable to Conrad scholars the world over.
