This book will provide the readers the ways and means to explore environmental variables as a resource in agriculture drawn through eleven chapters. With review of basic knowledge on units, dimension, and basic laws of nature, individual chapters have been added on efficient utilization of radiant energy, aerodynamic wind energy, soil moisture resource, thermal energy utilization for the growth and development of field crops. Then chapters have been developed on the collective interaction of these productive environment variables to assess the crop microclimatology and their interactive behaviour for eventual development of crops models. Finally two chapters cover the meteorological aspects of crops pests and diseases, and use of remote sensing approach for different applications in crop’s interactive behaviour with the physical environment. It is intended that this book will provide a sound basic knowledge on the different components of Agriculture Meteorology and Environmental science.
