Principles of Highway Engineering

Dr. R.K. Khitoliya graduated in civil engineering from Banaras Hindu University. Dr. Khitoliya obtained M.Tech. (civil) and Ph.D. (civil) from IIT Delhi and LLB from University of Delhi. At present Dr. Khitoliya is working as professor and Head, Post Graduate Environment Department in Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and teaching up to post graduate level. He is Convenor, Board of Studies in Environmental Studies Punjab University, Chandigarh. Dr. Khitoliya has to his credit more than 200 technical/research papers published in various journals/symposia/seminar of national and international repute. He has authored a book entitled “Environmental Pollution” published S. Chand and Co. Ltd. New Delhi. He was a UNDP fellow and received training at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. His area of interest are Environmental Legislation, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development & Environmental Impact Assessment.
