ABOUT THE AUTHOR R.C. Tyagi

Dr. R.C. Tyagi, obtained his post-graduate and Ph.D. degree in Economics from Kanpur University, Kanpur. Dr. Tyagi has over fourteen years of research experience, since he started his career in Social Science Research with the Giri Institute of Development Studies, Lucknow. Besides this book, the author has a number of research articles, project reports and working papers to his credit. He also participated in several National and International Seminars, Conferences, workshops and remained closely associated with many professional bodies of Social Science Research in India. Recently, he got an opportunity to conduct research work for a period of 6-9 months during 1995 in Sugar Industry at Coventry University, Coventry, U.K.
