Mental hygiene is a subject of very recent origin. It has been admitted that the attitude of the students towards learning depends to a great extent on the mental hygiene. But knowledge gained in the field of mental hygiene has been of use in the Armies. But educationists have begun in the realize the value of mental hygiene in the field of education. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Seethu Raman
Dr. Seetu raman did his M.A. in Psychology from Vikram University, Ujjain. He worked for sometime in the Sate Council of educational Research and Training in the Sate of Madhya Pradesh. Later he moved to Maharastra and has taught in many Colleges in Mumbai. He has authored many books on Psychology and education and he regularly writes for the national and international Journals of Psychology and Education. He has been consultant to various Governmental Organisations.
