Dialogue is buzz-word today. One cannot understand mission today without dialogue. People have to understand the meaning of the Word of God in the context they live. God speaks very specially and differently in the given context. Faith in Jesus and commitment to the master draws every Christian to respond positively to the situation. In this volume, one understands that dialogue should be prophetic. As prophets encountered the people and interacted in the context and announced the Divine and denounced the evil in society, Christian dialogue should be prophetic dialogue. He is a priest of the Archdiocese of Bombay and did his doctoral studies in Sociology of Religion a the Catholic University, Lonvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. He was formerly on the staff of the National Biblical Catechetical and Liturgical Centre, Bangalore. He offers courses and seminars at various religious institutes and houses of formation.
