Against this background, an attempt is made to write this book incorporating all the salient features of modern economy in the field of finance. The primary object of writing this book is to educate the students about the financial developments that are taking place in the post-war and post-independent for all the developed and developing countries. Written in two Parts-Part ‘A’ refers to public finance in general and part ‘B’ to Indian public finance, as case study.
