ABOUT THE AUTHOR Arun Ray

Dr. Arun Ray graduated from Bhadrak College, Orissa. He received his M.A. Degree from the Utkal University and both M. Phil and Ph.D. (Political science) degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi. He was Previously Research Fellow at the National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi. He was a receipient of the Swedish International Development Agency Scholarship for his doctoral work. Presently, he teaches Women’s Studies at Utkal University, Orissa.
