The last two decades have brought a surge of interest in qualitative inorganic analysis, a field of analytical chemistry that deals with the detection, identification and determination of individual chemical forms of inorganic compounds. The increasing awareness of the importance of inorganic compounds is resulting in a growing demand from research and routine laboratories for analytical techniques capable of providing species-specific information for environment, agriculture and nutrition, medicine and pharmacology and industrial process chemistry. The principles and procedures of qualitative inorganic analysis are elaborately described in the present volume. It will be highly useful reference tool for chemistry students and professional analytical chemists in their work.
