Realism in Politics

A veteran Pakistani diplomat, Mr. Shahid M. Amin has written extensively on foreign policy issues. His book “Pakistan’s Foreign Policy: A reappraisal” 200 has received wide acclaim from experts as well as students and those interested in Pakistan’s relations with other countries. Mr. Amin served for nearly forty years with Pakistan Foreign Service and was Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the Soviet Union, France, Libya and Nigeria. He holds Master’s degrees in English Literature from Punjab University and in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Boston (USA). He is a regular participants in foreign affairs programmes on television and radio.
