ABOUT THE AUTHOR R. Manivanan
Dr. R. Manivanan is a researcher in the field of environmental Sciences and Water Quality Modelling. He did his M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, M.Phil in Energy, Environmental and Natural Resources from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Ph.D. from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore and Diploma in Industrial Safety from Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Tamil Ndu. he has been awarded Junior and Senior Research Fellowship from Ministry of Environmental and Forestry, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He has an experience of over 15 years in the field of Fresh Water and Coastal Ecosystems, and works as a consultant for various national and international agencies. Dr. Manivanan has conducted and attended many Seminars/Symposias in the field of Environmental and Fresh Water and Coastal Ecosystems Sciences. He has to his credit many articles published in Various journals of national and international repute and has also guided more than 4 Ph.D. students in environmental sciences. Presently Dr. Manivanan is Pursuing his research work in Central Water and Power Research Station, Khadakwasla, Pune.
