Rediscovering Christ in Asia

Discovers how we can present what we have studied and know about the Christian faith to friends of other faiths, in ways that will be intelligible and non-threatening to them, in categories that are familiar to them. This is a collection of Essays and Addresses, partly autobiographical anecdotes partly personal reflections gathered over author long ministry in country. Bishop Kenneth Fernando has done in his short book Rediscovering Christ in Asia. He is of course well quipped to do so. He is an outstanding teacher and theologian, steeped in knowledge of Asia and well known to key Asian religious thinkers. His respect and openness to other faiths emanate from a deep rootedness in the Christian faith coupled with a readiness to consider new ideas.
