The present book examines the problems relating to regional disparities in the economy of Rajasthan. Imbalances have been examined, both at macro and micro levels and an attempt has been made to elaborate the factors-economic, social and natural-contributing to regional disparities in Rajasthan. It discusses at length the regional and area based planning as basic tools which may be used to solve the problem of regional imbalances and achieve balanced regional development.
