This book entitled “Reshaping Technology for Agricultural Development” edited keeping in view that by the introduction of modern technologies in agriculture along with excess use of chemical fertilizer and pesticides is a major problem associated with agriculture ecosystem and danger for agricultural sustainability and in this context, it is urgently required to reshape the agricultural technology which is to be technically sound, economically viable, eco-friendly and socially acceptable. Present book may be expected to stimulate the interest in the field of agriculture and to think for reshaping the agriculture technology among scientist, researchers, users, curators, student and all those who are engaged and interested really to promote sustainable agriculture intensification for the benefit of human kind and next generation.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Birendra Prasad
Born in April 1945, Dr. Birendra Prasad has a brilliant academic record. From Matriculation upto M.A. the author has always been a first class degree holder. Joined D.A.V. College, Siwan in 1967 and again joined Post-Graduate Department of History, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya in early 1968. Since then he is teaching Post-Graduate students. Secured Ph.D. degree in 1976 on the thesis entitled “Indian Nationalism and Asia, 1900-1947â€, From Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar. The author has several research papers to his credit. His another book captioned “Readings in Indian Historiography†is to come out very soon.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sunil Kumar
Dr. Sunil Kumar teaches in the Department of History, Delhi University. He received his Ph.D. from Duke University in 1992. His book ‘The Emergence of the Delhi Sultanate 1190-1290’ is in press. Meanwhile he has completed another manuscript titled, ‘Sites of Power and Resistance: A Study of Sultanate Monumental Architecture’. Dr. Kumar resides in Saket, in South Delhi, near the sites discussed in this book.
