Dr. Krishna Gopal is presently working as Scientist & Head, Aquatic Toxicology Division, Industrial Toxicology research Centre (Council of Scientific Industrial research) Lucknow. He did his M.Sc. (Zoology) and Ph.D. from Gorakhpur University. Dr. Gopal has published several research papers in international journals. He participated in number of seminars and conferences both in India and abroad and has been awarded coveted 'Archana Gold medal' by the Academy of Environmental Biology, India for his outstanding contribution in the field of toxicology. he is actively associated with many scientific organizations/universities and member of several academic committees. Dr. Gopal is Editor-in-Chief of Ecophysiology & Occupational health and member of the editorial board of reputed journals. His active participation in the national Mission Scientific programmes viz. National Drinking Water Mission, Antarctica expedition as well as biodiversity of Himalayan Glaciers is worth appreciation.
