ABOUT THE AUTHOR Pratima Kapoor

Basically a graduate in Biological Sciences, Dr. Pratima Kapoor has a consistent distinguished career as student and scholar. After attaining her B.Sc. in first class first, she further did her M.A., M.Phil and Ph.D. from Himachal Pradesh University as resident scholar. As Assistant Professor at Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration, Shimla she had taught for three years and during this span organized and conducted a large numbers of seminars, discussions and discourses for the galaxy of participants hailing from the top bureaucracies, scientists down to the humble lower categories of government employees. Later she taught at Post Graduate Government College, Mandi and Presently is teaching Public Administration at Government College, Shimla. Besides this treatise on Banking, Dr. Kapoor’s studies on the District Administration and Interpersonal relationship between Generalists and specialist in government establishments has been applauded both by the peers and lay readers. These works are under the process of publications.
