This book delves into the role of corporate social responsibility and panchayati raj in new dimension of rural development. This book is designed into two sections – first section deals with role of state and corporate houses in sustainable rural livelihood and food security in five chapters while second section reviews participatory approaches of panchayati raj in implementing rural development programmes in a decentralised framework in next three chapters.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dipali Saha
Dipali Saha, born in Maladah district and educated in North Bengal University, is a young and dynamic scholar who has written number of important articles in News paper and journal of national and international repute. A dynamic scholar of sociology, was born in Maldah district and educated in North Bengal University (West Bengal). She was associated with several projects of ICSSR Kolkata and also worked as a lecturer in Ashutosh College in Kolkata. She has written a number of important articles in Newspaper and journals of national and international reputes. Her first published book is Civil Society and Modern Politics.
