This book is an outcome of an extensive empirical research undertaken by the author based on the fieldwork on rural women in informal sector. Since the topic is related to women exploitation due to illiteracy and ignorant. Women have been the most underprivileged and discriminated strata of the society not only in India but he world over. In spite of all Government and non-government efforts, they have been highly ignorant clients of the informal sector. The author enriches the analysis with examples citing available information of the rural workingwomen. The author had to put intensive efforts to collect the reliable sources from various governmental agencies and other non-governmental agencies pertaining to women vulnerability in the informal sectors.
