In this book school Effectiveness through Leadership style and Organizational Health, the author has made a sincere effort to look into the problems assailing schools, examining the leadership styles of headmasters and principals, looking into the organizational health of schools and the combined effect of leadership styles and organizational health on school effectiveness. This study has found the key threads of school effectiveness to be principal leadership, particular goal selection, school climate, and other intervening variables, which flow out of leadership. The author was able to develop three questionnaires to measure leadership style, organizational health and school effectiveness. This book will undoubtedly prove to be a boon to researchers working in the area of school leadership styles, organizational culture as well as TQM in schools. It is hoped that the findings of this study will provide practical help to principals, teachers, and people who run schools, on how to optimize their existing resources, leading to quality schools all over the country.
