In the present volume eminent scientists, scholars and philanthropists have joined together to discuss the problems relating to the impact of technological progress on the cultural development of mankind. The turmoil created by modern scientific inventions has threatened the very existence of our globe. Will the humanity emerge more secure or will it be submerged once more in the Deluge? Contributors to this volume have been hopeful about the future of mankind. Man is immortal and his future is one whose glory and splendour have no limit. The scientific achievements have already opened new dimensions of space, and psychological investigations have revealed inner depths of human personality. The occult view on life has affirmed the existence of Adept Brotherhood and the Inner government of the World. Based on these ideas when the New Humanity is born and a new culture takes shape, all barriers – psychological as well as physical – will be transcended and it is hoped that the world will be attuned to the essential oneness of the human family. The book is divided into three parts. Part I discusses the impact of scientific progress on the nature of human evolution. Part II is devoted to a study of the relationship between Science, Philosophy and Religion. Part III relates to the origin and evolution of forms and consciousness. Subjects included in this section are the Origin of Life, Life in Plants, the Invisible Man, concerning Man and His Future, and the Perfected Humanity. As Hon’ble Justices B.P. Sinha has indicated, the book may be of considerable benefit to all those who are interested in the healthy growth of mankind as one Brotherhood.
