ABOUT THE AUTHOR Diksha Sharma

An alumnus of St. Bedes College and Himachal pradesh University Shimla , Diksha Sharma obtained her Master's Degree in English Literature followed by an M.Phill and a PhD She embarked on her career as a lecturer in the Government Degree College Theog Shimla and is presently teaching at the Birla Insitute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Rajasthan . Her areas of research include cultural studies , subaltern, post-colonial studies and postmodern studies. Both a proponent as well as a critic of interdisciplinarity she has not only foregrounded the relationship of history and literature but has also pioneered the study of postmodernism and creative thinking in the Department of Humanities and Languages at The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, (BITS) Pilani.
