The book is another addition to the fast-growing literature on J & K State, which is the most sensitive part of India. It has grown out of senior-Fellowship project, allotted to the Author, by ICSSR, affiliated to the Ministry of Human development Resources. Govt. of India. The Author has tried his best, to make the book informative and relevant, after verifying virtually all sources available on this side of the border, in the form of official records, reports, memories interaction with old-times and the newspapers.
