Socio-Political Movements in Tripura with special reference to Dasarath Deb is a work based on research and interviews of the Author with political leaders, community experts and elders of Tripura, which may be considered as a reference book of the socio-political movements in Tripura. The present work is also based on the Author’s personal interviews and life experience with Dasarath Deb right from the student life of the Author through his entire political life career till the demise of Dasarath Deb. In fact, this book is a humble attempt to unfold the socio-political movements of the people of Tripura from the perspective of socio-political issues. This book is, perhaps, the first work on the socio-political movements in Tripura with special reference to Dasarath Deb and it will be helpful to the researchers and readers in the field of research on socio-political issues of Tripura.
