This is the first book of its kind in the field of liquid ion exchangers which is an upcoming field in solvent extraction chemistry. There are number of monographs dealing with various aspects of solvent extraction. However the present title deals in depth the analytical chemistry of liquid ion exchangers. These methods have great potential in the field of hydrometallurgy because the possibility of regeneration of an extraction process becomes economical. Solvent extraction and ion exchange are complimentary methods of separation, however, the use of the liquid ion exchangers has advantages of both techniques.
This monograph will be very useful to analytical chemists, environmental scientists, chemical processing and material scientists, research workers in solvent extraction as well as postgraduate students majoring in analytical chemistry.
