Gurpreet Bal is Reader, Department of Sociology at Guru Nanak Deve University, Amritsar. She has been working and publishing in the areas of development and social change, enterpreneurship, and women studies.

Paramjit S. Judge is Professor of Sociology at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar He was worked and published in the areas of social movements, Indian diaspora and politics of social development. Some of his writings are: Insurrection to Agitation: The Naxalite Movement in Punjab, Terrorism in Punjab: Understanding Grassroots Reality (co-authored) and Social and Political Movements (co-Edited).
