T.S. Eliot: Poetry, Plays and Prose

T.S. Eliot is a major figure in English literature. His, The Waste Land established him decisively as a voice of a disillusioned generation and Prufrock and Other Observations struck a new note in modern poetry–Satiric, allusive, cosmopolitan and at times lyric and elegiac. T.S. Eliot, along with W.H. Auden, Ezra Pound and Stephen Spender represented the mainstream of modern movement in poetry.
