ABOUT THE AUTHOR Biswadeb Chatterjee

Dr. Bisdhades Chatterjee took his graduation in 1976 and post graduation in Economics in 1978 from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan in West Bengal. He joined the west Bengal Educational Service in 1981 as lecture in Economics at the A.B.N. Seal College, Cooch Behar, later he taught at the Maulana Azad College, Calcutta. He is currently posted as Assistant professor and Head of the Department of Economics at Taki Government College, Taki. He was awarded the Ph. D. Degree from Visva Bharati. He was the recipient of the National Merit Scholarship and the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for his academic achievements. He has contributed several articles and research papers which are published in various reputed journals.
