Technical services are those services that provide access to information existing in some published form. It divides into two major components: (1) physical access which is created through the process of acquiring, organising, and labelling information packages, and (2) bibliographic access, which requires the creation of the descriptive and subject tags that allow the eventual users to select the information package needed.
