The central concern of the present work is to initiate changes in the organisational patterns of rural administration and make them viable to adopt new conditions and modern technology for development. Notwithstanding several studies on rural development, there is hardly any study focusing on the linkages between technology, rural development and organisation building. This is a modest effort in this direction.
