A highly enjoyable guide to the winged jewels of nature, the book deals not only in the biology and identification of butterflies, but also has sections on butterfly watching and photography, and even guides the readers to plan their own butterfly garden. In all, 735 butterflies that occur in the Indian subcontinent have been described and illustrated in colour in this book.
